Stop Fitts For Fight, part two
In the not too distant past I wrote a post about Fitts For Fight’s blatant ripping of music. Well the issue is picking up some action. Garreth Morris from Micromusic NL HQ has started a petition to stop Fitts For Fight from stealing micromusic.
This is a big issue for any creatives in any profession and they need to be stopped. But I hardly doubt a petition is going to stop these phonies from exploiting other people’s work. They are knowingly doing it already (unless the “producer” in charge is manipulating them, which I doubt).
I say print out cheap flyers with the stolen goods page link (with a translation if that helps) and hand it out to their audience. Possibly during their show, and spread the word. Most if not all of their touring is still in Norway, so seed the message there. Hopefully they’ll stop when their fans stop paying attention to them (and become fans of the original producers).
