16 Dimensional Records releases two NES albums

Wednesday, April 11th, 2007

Get it right here.
Pretty good stuff, just in time for… Wednesday. Well, go click and download, and enjoy your high frequency sensitivity while you still got it. These tracks range from the enjoyable, the kind that you wonder how it would sound at 16bit, to the very experimental.

Boom! Headshot! Wait…

Friday, February 16th, 2007

Straight from the UK, with that British humor I don’t understand, comes Meatspace:

This pilot episode goes through a lot of recent news and memes in a span of three minutes. Some of the lines are drawn out and long. You know, to try and perfectly set up a joke which is not original but still […]

The Megas

Tuesday, December 26th, 2006

Josh Breeding, Eric von Doymi, Greg Schneider, and Brent Firestone come together to play rock versions of Mega Man music, which is pretty cool. Not to hate, but they can use some work with the vocals. But they are still new […]

Homebrew DS Midi Wifi

Thursday, December 14th, 2006

Here is a neat video of a Nintendo DS being used as a MIDI controller, EFX board, and a sound module! It also has hardware support for Gameboy sound emulation. Awesome home-brew stuff here.

I can definitely see this taking off.

A Whole Lot Of SNES Soundtracks

Wednesday, December 13th, 2006

For those of you who are lucky enough to play one of the greatest gaming consoles made, check out SNESmusic for some serious reminiscing. SNESmusic is a giant SNES music library (who would have thought?).
Most of these are in RSN format and you need to get the plugins or players first. The Winamp plugin works […]
